We are looking for someone to work with and support Directors and members of Nurrdalinji Native Title Aboriginal Corporation for the next 12 months.

Who is Nurrdalinji?
Nurrdalinji Native Title Aboriginal Corporation was formed to assert our right to make decisions about what happens on our country. “Nurrdalinji” is an Alawa word meaning “mixed tribe”. Our members come from a big area, across the Beetaloo and Barkly regions. Set up in 2020, we have over 60 members who are all native title holders from 11 native title determination areas. What is the job?
The Community Coordinator position is a part-time or casual role with a 12-month contract (option to extend). $70,000 pro rata full-time equivalent, plus super. Location is negotiable within the Northern Territory.

The role requires extensive travel to communities within the Beetaloo Basin. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with community members and leaders, supporting them in their work and providing information with the aim of protecting sacred sites, water and country.

You are committed to the protection of country and justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and believe in building the power and capacity of others. You are a team player who is respectful and can work well with others. Driver's licence is essential.
